MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
Sirach 11:9 (not in Protestant Bible)
Do not argue about a matter that does not concern you,
And do not sit together with sinners when they judge a case.
Personal challenge
Once again, Sirach provides words of wisdom to guide us on our journey through life. First, stay out of matters that do not concern you. We so often get ourselves in precarious situations when we stick our noses into someone else’s business. This always ends by blowing up in our faces. Second, be careful of who we associate with when called upon to judge a case. Associating with those who are questionable in wisdom or purity will certainly taint you. Lord, have mercy! Lord, have mercy! Lord, have mercy!
