PURSUE WISDOM
Sirach 14:20-22 (not in Protestant Bible)
Blessed is the man who practices wisdom
And discourses with insight.
Whoever ponders the ways of wisdom in his heart
Will also reflect on her secrets.
Pursue wisdom like a tracker
And lie in wait on her paths.
Personal Challenge
Wisdom in the Old Testament is personified in the incarnation of Jesus Christ. This has been taught since the beginning of the early church 2,000 years ago. As followers of Christ, we are challenged to pursue Christ with every ounce of our being. This pursuit embodies the finding, and embracing, of God’s divine wisdom. Glory be to God!
