Deceitful souls are led astray in sins,
But the righteous have compassion and are merciful.
Personal Challenge
What does it mean to be righteous? It means to be morally right or justifiable. Another word for it is virtuous. A righteous person is compassionate and merciful towards others. They are willing to receive and follow godly discipline and instruction. Those who choose to avoid righteousness by being self-focused become deceitful souls and are led astray in their sins. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, the sinner!
